The Parlour is a boutique salon owned and run by two sisters - Hayley and Katie - in the beautiful medieval town of Shrewsbury
The Parlour first opened back in 2009, with the sister’s passion and combine experience for Hair and Beauty led them to create their excusive, elegant salon. All set in a beautiful three-storey Tudor house full of character, which offers a unique feel, uniting old with new.
At the Parlour, we believe in a one to one basis throughout your stay. Consultation is of great importance to us; we listen carefully to each client’s needs and concerns, whilst offering suggestions and advice that will create the best look for you.
With our genuine client focused approach, we know you will be leaving feeling truly relaxed and looking your best.
We aim to be a greener and environmentally friendly salon using only the best Natural, Vegan and Organic products wherever possible, we strive to minimize our plastic usage! Our little way to help our beautiful planet.

Hayley
Hairdresser
Hayley is co-owner of The Parlour
Her hairdressing career started at a very young age of 13 where she was a Saturday girl at Umberto Giannini, Inspired by some of the industry’s top hairdressers she soon found her own natural flair for hair to create pure perfection!
She loves the natural approach and building an eco-friendly salon.
Hayley loves the Blind Tiger cocktail Bar and anything chocolate!

Lucy
Hairdresser
Lucy was always destined to be a hairdresser and join the team in 2018. Lucy specialises in hair ups and regularly attends weddings as the stylist, she is able to create a masterpiece with any hair! Lucy loves most cocktails and enjoys the great selection of lunches we have in Shrewsbury town!

Hairdresser
Georgia has a thirst for knowledge and is always keen in keeping up with the latest hair trends. Georgia loves getting creative, from colours to cuts. Her eye for detail gives her clients great confidence that they will leave feeling and looking amazing.. Georgia loves hickories and Porn star martinis

Cherry
Hairdresser
Cherry has been part of the team since 2015. Working many years as a top creative stylist, her bubbly personality and experience shines through, clients leave not just with fantastic hair but with a smile on their face. Cherry loves whiskey and anything crafty!

Katie
Beauty Therapist
Katie is co-owner of The Parlour. And qualified as a beauty therapist in 1997. She started her first beauty business in 2000. Her passion for beauty has continued throughout her career and takes every opportunity to bring the latest Beauty craze into the salon. This eyebrow queen set up a Microblading clinic in 2016 and created our own SPEED WAXING Technique. Katie loves singing and dancing in the salon and cakes!

Jasmin
Beauty therapist
Jasmin qualified in hair and beauty in 2011 and joined The Parlour in 2014. With her love for everything relaxing her clients leave on cloud nine. She has a lovely kind and attentive nature which shines through with all her treatments. She specialises in lash lifts and lash extensions. Jasmin loves baking and riding her horses.
